Kep Younce, CPA  (NC#13584)

Tax Partner

For over 28 years, Kep Younce has served individual clients and closely held   business clients assisting them with their tax, accounting and business planning needs.  He has worked both in public accounting and as a controller in private industry.  Having these two perspectives on business allows him to be realistic about the challenges business owners face and practical, yet creative, in finding solutions to problems. Kep believes that proper planning cannot be done in a one year vacuum. "The future must be anticipated, in conjunction with existing current facts to maximize planning opportunities."

Kep graduated Cum Laude from NC State University. He is involved in a variety of community and professional organizations.  He currently serves as Treasurer of the Cabarrus County Educational Foundation and is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Accounting and Economics program at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.  He is past-president of Concord Downtown Development Corp having served 4 years with this organization. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the North Carolina Association of CPAs. Kep is an Elder in First Presbyterian Church.

 

Beth Younce, CPA  (NC#17948)

Audit Partner

With over 23 years experience in the accounting field, Beth Younce, has worked with a variety of businesses assisting them with their accounting, tax and business planning. Beth is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.  Her work as a software consultant involves systems design and implementation which is valuable to her as an auditor. Her tax and accounting experience as a CPA affords her a unique and advanced perspective when delivering QuickBooks training and installation. Beth's service goes beyond the simple "how to".  She incorporates her wealth of experience which allows the business to more fully utilize the software to its maximum capacity to provide valuable information from which to manage the business. Reports are set up to take the critical measurements reflecting the profit drivers of the business and identify important trends. 

 

Beth graduated with a degree in English from Vanderbilt University and studied accounting at Georgia State University. Her community activities include:   Former President and Former Treasurer of Beverly Hills PTO, Treasurer of Concord Middle School PTSO, Secretary of First Presbyterian Church Foundation, Vice-President of Cabarrus County Gymnastics Booster Club, Former Treasurer for Presbyterian Women, Former President Wake County Estate Planning Council, and Former Treasurer Carolina Ballet Theatre.
